Wale parts ways with Roc Nation

Wale drops his management.

Wale has parted ways after five years with Jay Z’s management company Roc Nation. The rapper, who is expected to release an album later on this year, has said the decision was more about doing what’s best for himself than a fall out with the company.

Wale has reportedly signed with 77 North Management who also represent Lebron James.

Jay Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean have been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit for their 2011 collaboration “Made in America” off the ‘Watch The Throne’ album.

New York musician, Joel McDonald, has claimed the trio stole his song of the same title.

Beyonce and Rihanna are reportedly set to collaborate on the remix to “Blow” from Beyoncé’s self-titled album.

This will be the third remix Beyoncé has done for the album.

MTV announced that Beyoncé will receive the legendary Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the Video Music Awards this year.

Mrs Carter has also been nominated for eight Video Music Awards this year and is set to perform live for the fourth time at the awards event.
