Biggie Smalls's little boy is all grown up.
Christopher Wallace Jr., the son of the late rap legend
Notorious B.I.G., graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in
California last week.
Wallace Jr.'s mother, singer Faith Evans, proudly shared
photos from the celebratory occasion on Instagram.
Evans captioned the below snapshot: "#proud #mom
#happy #son."
The 17-year-old has previously expressed interest in
acting. He had a role in the Will Ferrell flick "Everything Must Go,"
and also played a younger version of his father in the biopic “Notorious.”
"I definitely would not be able to continue my dad’s
rapping legacy because I’m not on that level yet — I’m not that good," CJ
told BET in 2011. "I rap, I joke around,
but I’m not serious about it. I didn't want people to be like, 'Like CJ, little
Biggie.' I’d rather them be like, 'CJ the actor made his own movie, directed
his own film, and won the Oscar,' stuff like that."
Evans, 40, married the famed rapper, whose real name was
Christopher Wallace, in August 1994 after meeting at a photo shoot for Bad Boy
records. Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed in Los Angeles in March 1997 when
his son was only five months old. Biggie was also survived by his daughter,
T'yanna, who is currently a student at Penn State and started a
clothing line in honor of her father.
